GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO GET THIS CHICKEN. Seriously. Plan ahead, take the detour, do your belly a favor. We stopped by on a road trip after our original lunch plans fell through. Thank goodness they did! Split a 12 piece of fried chicken, onion rings, and fries amongst five (3 kids) and it was a rare moment of quiet as my children shoveled perfectly fried chicken into their little faces. Two days later, one of my kids spontaneously said "man, that chicken was good..." and the car echoed agreement.

Stopped here after visiting nearby Carroll's Sausage. Absolutely great. Walk-up counter and outside seats (plus drive thru). Fried chicken game on-point. Juicy, not too breaded. Excellent cole-slaw too. And according to our table-mate the best fried chicken in Turner County. We will be back.
